iTero Digital Scanning
The iTero® digital scanner allows us to capture highly accurate 3D images of your teeth and bite without the need for traditional putty impressions. This technology improves patient comfort while giving Dr. Murphy a detailed view of tooth position and alignment, which supports more precise treatment planning for Invisalign and other orthodontic appliances.
3D In-Office Printing
With 3D in-office printing, Southern Maine Orthodontics can create custom orthodontic appliances directly in our office. This technology allows for faster production of items such as retainers and other appliances, reduces dependence on outside labs, and helps maintain consistent quality and fit throughout treatment.
Invisalign Lens
Invisalign Lens is a remote monitoring tool that allows patients to share progress updates with Dr. Murphy using a secure mobile app. By submitting guided photos between visits, we can track tooth movement, check aligner fit, and address concerns early. This technology helps reduce unnecessary office visits while keeping Invisalign treatment efficient, accurate, and on schedule.
LightForce® Custom Braces
LightForce® braces use fully customized, 3D-printed brackets designed specifically for each patient’s teeth. This personalized system improves bracket positioning, enhances efficiency, and allows for more precise tooth movement throughout treatment.
Invisalign® Clear Aligners
