Meet Dr. Seymour

The Southern Maine Orthodontics Team is excited to welcome Dr. Lake Seymour! Dr. Seymour grew up in New York and attended Colby College in Waterville, Maine, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania and her orthodontic specialty Certificate and Master of Medical Sciences from Harvard University. Dr. Seymour had the pleasure of training directly with Dr. Murphy at Harvard. 

Awards, Accreditations, & Affiliations

While at the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Seymour graduated with Honors in both Community Oral Health and Vulnerable Populations and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. Dr. Seymour is a member of the American Board of Orthodontics, the American Association of Orthodontics, and the Northeast Society of Orthodontics. 

Additionally, Dr. Seymour has served as 

Communications Committee member of the Northeast Society of Orthodontists.

Media Advocacy Captain for the American Association of Orthodontics National Advocacy Network.

Outside the Office

Dr. Seymour loves baking, and you might find her building a new seven-layer cake! She loves yoga, pilates, playing soccer, and hanging out with her family and friends! Dr. Seymour also loves trying new foods!
